Vic
is a current member of the Victoria Police Multicultural Liaison
Unit with approval to provide external training and consultancy
services. Vic has a diverse background in operational law enforcement
and crime prevention duties as well as 9 years in the Australian
Army and 2 years as a Prison officer. As an Operational Safety Tactics
Instructor during “Project Beacon” (1994-1996), Vic
focused his attention on developing the “train-the-trainer”
programs and providing “quality assurance” for continuous
improvement. His recognised expertise led him to being chosen to
assist in the review and delivery of training for the Northern Territory
Police.
In 2001, Vic was selected to represent the Australian Civilian
Police with the UN Transition Authority in East Timor to design
and facilitate training. In 2002 he again went to East Timor with
USAID as a consultant, training the Timor Tactical Response Teams
in Human Rights and the Use of Force.
Vic’s accomplishments as a private consultant includes delivering
training to both government and private sector employees in Customer
Service, Conflict Management, Stress and Anger Management, Incident
management and, Leadership and Supervision. Participating companies
include Centrelink, Coles Myer, Country Fire Authority (Vic), N.S.W.
State Rail and Bus, Victoria Transport Employees Tram, Train and
Bus Services. Tenix Solutions, Local Government and the Department
of Education and Training.
Along with his unique style, diverse background, understanding
the environment and the application of practical life skills, Vic
